The EQL Residency is a six-month paid program offered by Spotify's Secret Genius studios in London, Los Angeles, and Nashville. It aimed to provide valuable hands-on experience to female-identifying producers and engineers in collaboration with Berklee College of Music,
My Role: Program Management, Onboarding Operations, Partnership Research, Talent Acquisition
RADAR empowered up-and-coming artists, songwriters, and podcasters, allowing them to expand their reach and impact on a global scale by sharing their stories through a diverse range of playlists, billboards, platform marketing, and social content.
I worked closely with partner managers and analytics teams to source creators for the campaign. Additionally, I managed all the event logistics for the selected creators who attended the live RADAR event in London.

The Spotify Suppers series offers exclusive dining experiences for executives, brand partners, and advertising partners. These events are essential to our brand, featuring brilliant minds, local artists, and renowned chefs. Each Supper is meticulously planned, with a focus on the local cuisine and culture. Additionally, we host intimate dinners for podcasters in LA and New York to foster connections and collaboration with their partner managers.

This program was exclusively for managed Spotify creators. Participants can meet one-on-one with the Product team for feedback sessions and get sneak peeks of unreleased features. They can also provide their honest input and have one-on-one research sessions with the Product team. This program allowed creators to connect directly with our product teams, potentially access unreleased tools and features early, and have priority selection in future Spotify opportunities.

Spotify's Sound Up Global program aimed to diversify the podcasting landscape by providing mentorship, equipment, production support, and expert-led training for underrepresented creatives. (expanded from 3 to 14 markets globally, (LATAM, EMEA, APAC, US) The program equipped participants with the knowledge and skills needed to create and foster relationships becoming a part of a global alumni.
Behind the Mic, a spin-off Sound Up program was a unique fellowship that aimed to empower black producers by allowing them to shape their own stories. Through collaboration with Studio 4 and Gimlet production teams, this program provides an invaluable opportunity for black producers to showcase their talent and creativity.
Sound Up’s Narrative Shift workshop offered podcasters the chance to receive dedicated mentorship over dinner and valuable feedback on their completed nonfiction scripts. It also gave a special chance to engage with professionals in the field and grow the Sound Up community beyond alumni.

Collaborated with Nameless.today to improve the UX design of our global hub and create an application system. This revamp involves localizing each market and prioritizing accessibility.
Collaborated with the Brand Creative team to refresh the Sound Up brand identity to appeal to a worldwide audience.

SOUND UP EVENTS
Worked alongside an event agency to bring our vision to life. Crafted culturally sensitive and bespoke events catering to creators' needs, while also supporting local businesses and professionals that represent marginalized communities in every project.
Catering
Found underrepresented local eateries to support small businesses and ensure each event caters to all dietary needs.
Travel
Coordinated international travel logistics including flights, lodging, and transportation services. Prioritized accessibility requirements when selecting venues.
Contracts
Managed SOWs, release forms, and payments for vendors, freelancers, and participants, ensuring fair compensation for all talent.
A/V
Booked a DJ and videographer for live events and industry mixers. Worked closely with the AV team to rehearse and provide technical assistance.

Curated mindful packages including podcast equipment, laptops, wellness kits, stipends, meal vouchers, and mental health resources.

Recruited podcast experts to serve as facilitators, mentors, and guest speakers leveraging their expertise to enhance the cohort's learning experience.
